Thanks for stopping by. I share my writing and other creative projects here. I’m interested in seeing the world from different angles.

A misspent youth reading and messing around in woods has led me to a bad end: the pursuit of poetry. My writing has been published in anthologies and pamphlets, and shortlisted in UK competitions. I’m inspired by nature and everyday life. Themes in my work include meditation, nature, relationships, and mythology. As if that weren’t bad enough, I write stories and make music too. I enjoy seeing what emerges from the creative process and sharing that with others.

Mark D. Cooper’s poetry has been published in a trilogy of pamphlets: The Inner SeaThe Tide Clock, and The Chalk Path. One of his poems recently won second prize in the Teignmouth Poetry Festival’s Keats’ Footsteps competition. He lives in Devon.
